SYM Bebidas thought of developing a new Argentine absinthe with premium characteristics and asked us to design the packaging and identity of the product.

Case study

First, SyM Bebidas contacted us and commissioned their absinthe’s packaging and identity design with a strong personality. It should have a modern style and a new aesthetic for the category. Secondly, they ask for an innovative proposal for the product’s packaging, which makes it stand out on the shelf and offers the consumers a bonus that identifies them with the brand. Likewise, we had to consider elements that accompany the product in character and personality. Finally, we had to consider the competition to differentiate the product in price and quality.

Results

As a result, we developed the brand identity, which brought several challenges. First, the strategic part includes the brand’s name, concept, and positioning. And secondly, the aesthetics, color palette, typography, and brand book. Likewise, we developed a system that plays with both color and shapes. That is how we work on the product and create a disruptive, hypnotic, modern brand like Green Zebra.

Experience

Finally, this was a project where a lot of work had to be done on the brand’s concept and DNA to achieve a positioning according to the client’s expectations. For this reason, the work on the packaging and the different applications was key to closing a coherent system. Innovation was also crucial, and we introduced it into a brand architecture that took it to another level. It is noteworthy that the client gave us great freedom and support to develop a brand we are proud of and fully trust.
