Case study
Initially, the jazz band Ediberto’s Project approached us intending to take a bold, innovative leap within the music industry. They envisioned something more than just a traditional band. Consequently, the idea emerged of transforming their identity into something that encompassed more than music—merging musical performance with event organization.
They desired to position themselves as a unique service provider, offering events that would leave a lasting impression. Thus, our challenge was to develop a brand strategy that shifted the entire concept from a simple jazz band to a high-end event production company with a distinct and elegant touch. From the start, we knew this would be a creative and strategic branding project.
Results
The end result was the creation of a powerful and distinct brand identity: Brass Up Music Builders. The brand was designed with a sophisticated retro aesthetic that resonated with their target market, ensuring they stood out in both the music and event planning industries. We focused on developing a harmonious blend of typography and color palettes to reflect the elegance they sought.
The logo and visual elements captured the essence of their new direction, combining both musical heritage and contemporary class. Furthermore, the brand identity was seamlessly extended to all applications, including business cards, event brochures, and online platforms. This cohesive visual presence helped solidify Brass Up’s reputation as an innovative and stylish player in the social events industry.
Experience
Despite not having commercial experience in the field, the band managed to take on the challenge we presented and turn it into a product. Due to that, this project tested Bigsur’s capabilities to achieve the expected results. That is how we developed its website, social networks, and the audiovisual and photographic pieces necessary to launch the brand. That gave them a good communication base to connect with their target audience and provide a better service.
