The Uruguayan rock band Los Oxford entrusted us with the design and audiovisual production of their musical theme, “Chavette,” in co-production with Lazy Bear.

Case study

To begin with, a thriving Uruguayan rock band contacted us to work together on this project. He intended to make a storytelling-style video clip that would tell an epic story. And, as if that were not enough, it had to include a particular clothing brand to give it the desired aesthetic and serve as a showcase for the new collection. Lastly, they gave us creative freedom to develop the script, design, and audiovisual production. All this was necessary to achieve a product according to their expectations.

Results

Finally, we reached a piece of great production and aesthetic quality. It refers us to classic archetypes of cinema and TV, such as Karate Kid, Rocky, and Kung Fu. The attractiveness of the characters and the epic story is especially relevant. For its part, the script, costumes, scouting, vehicles, and logistics, came together harmoniously in a two-day production that raised a challenge for the entire Team, a milestone for our agency.

Experience

The video clip was filmed entirely in Uruguay with a technical team of more than 20 people. So it was the biggest challenge we had at an audiovisual level and one of the most enriching since we started at the agency. Likewise, everything flowed to achieve one of the best video clips of 2014 and thus obtain the Piedra de Oro award at the Tandil Film Festival for best video clip, a pride marked by fire in our hearts.
